In the printing industry, the term encapsulation refers to the method of covering the full color graphics with a complete clear vinyl overlay and permanently sealing sheets over the outside panels. The clear PVC vinyl material used in this process is a clear, tough, waterproof plastic film that protects the sheet.
Encapsulation Binder Features
At Ad Industries, we supply durable encapsulation binders for professional requirements. All standard vinyl colors can be used for the outside and inside of the binder. The encapsulation sheets can be offset printed or digitally printed depending on the quantity required for the project.
For small runs up to 500 pcs. Ad Industries recommends digitally printing the sheets. For larger runs, offset printing is the preferred and most cost effective method. We will provide a dieline/template for your art department to use for art layout. If you do not have access to a graphic artist we can provide this service. The art department can use vector, .eps files or hi-res pdf files for art layout and production.
